Symphony of Light | Limited Edition Print

from $150.00

This photo was taken during an exceptionally strong Aurora Borealis (northern lights) display in the Canadian Rockies on March 23, 2023. The event was so exceptionally strong that it was viewed as far South as New Mexico and Arizona. In the Canadian Rockies the aurora is best viewed under dark skies and away from light pollution while looking low on the horizon to the North. This photo looks South in Kananaskis Country while the sky explodes in a 360-degree dynamic show of light and colour.

The northern lights occur at altitudes of approximately 90 - 130 km above the Earth’s surface as solar winds collide with the atmosphere. A total of 100 editions of this print are available.
